Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 315975 Size: MH
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the lock rod from the rear door inside door handle.
  4. Remove the handle rod from the rear door inside door handle.
  5. Remove the rear door inside handle (1) to rear door rivet (2).
    6. 5.1. Use a center punch to drive the rear door inside handle mounting rivet mandrel into the rivet head to create a pilot hole.
    5.2. Use a 6.35 mm (1/4 in) drill bit to drill out the rivet.
  6. Remove the rear door inner door handle from the rear door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 315975 Size: MH
  1. Install the rear door inner door handle by inserting the tabs into the inner door panel slots.
  2. Install the lock rod to the rear door inner door handle.

    3. Install the clip in order to secure the lock rod.

  3. Install the handle rod to the rear door inner door handle.

    4. Install the clip in order to secure the handle rod.

  4. Install the rivet (2) to the rear door inner door handle.
  5. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  6. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
