Removal Procedure

Important: When removing a power window switch, the ignition switch must be in the OFF position. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting out the power window switch if a flat-bladed tool, awl, or metal object is used to remove the power window switch from the wiring harness.

Important: The front end of the mounting plate (by mirror select switch) has a hard plastic lip. The mounting plate must be slid to the rear to remove this front retaining lip.
