BCM Type 2

The BCM type 2 has the following features:

•	Retained accessory power (RAP) -- refer to Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Description and Operation in Retained Accessory Power for detailed information.

•	Audible warnings -- Refer to Audible Warnings Description and Operation in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console for detailed information.

•	Interior lighting -- Refer to Interior Lighting Systems Description and Operation in Lighting Systems for detailed information.

•	Exterior lighting -- Refer to Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation in Lighting Systems for detailed information.

•	Automatic power doors locks -- Refer to Power Door Locks Description and Operation in Doors for detailed information.

BCM Type 3

Vehicles with RPO AU0 are equipped with a BCM type 3. The BCM type 3 has all of the features of the BCM type 2 as well as the ability to receive keyless entry information from the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) module. BCM Type 4

Vehicles with RPO AU0 and UA6 are equipped with a BCM type 4. The BCM type 4 has all of the features of the BCM type 3 as well as the Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) feature. Refer to Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) Description and Operation in Theft Deterrent for detailed information.
