The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
TCS light on and possible DTCs C0244 and/or P1689.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Check PCM connector(s) for water intrusion.
Diagnostic hint: Delivered torque circuit on a normal vehicle will be in the high 20's to low 30's (NM) when in gear at idle
Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
