Close all of the vehicle doors.
Enter the BCM Input/Output test. Refer to Body Control Module Diagnostic Information in Body Control System.
Open, then close each door, one at a time. Listen to the chime.

Does the chime sound when opening each door?

•	Inspect the BCM connector for poor terminal contact. Perform repairs as needed.

•	If the terminal contact is OK, replace the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Repair the poor connection or open in circuit 49.

Repair the poor connection or open in circuit 159.

Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Reconnect the connectors and reinstall the components that were removed.
Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position for 6 seconds.
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Remove the MALL fuse.
Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position. (The BCM sounds the chime a number of times equivalent to the BCM type installed on the vehicle).
Within 1 second, turn the ignition switch from the ACC position, to the OFF position, then back to the ACC position. (The BCM sounds any DTCs stored).
