Removal Procedure

Important: The vacuum check valve and the grommet may be inspected and serviced without removing the booster from the vehicle.

  1. Remove the master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Replacement

    2. Object Number: 176823 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose (2) at the vacuum check valve (1).

    3. Object Number: 176828 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum check valve (3) from the booster (5).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 176828 Size: SH
  1. Connect the brake booster vacuum check valve (3) to the booster (5).

    2. Object Number: 176823 Size: SH
  2. Connect the brake booster vacuum hose (2) at the vacuum check valve (1).
  3. Install the master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Replacement .
