Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front brake pipes from the master cylinder.
  2. Remove the brake pipes from the traction control module.
  3. Remove the traction control module brake pipes from the ABS modulator.
  4. Remove the front brake pipe brackets.
  5. Remove the rear brake pipes.
  6. Remove the rear brake pipe clip (front).
  7. Remove the rear brake pipe clip (mid-front).
  8. Remove the rear brake pipe clip (rear).

Installation Procedure

Caution: Always use double walled steel brake pipe when replacing brake pipes. The use of any other pipe is not recommended and may cause brake system failure. Carefully route and retain replacement brake pipes. Always use the correct fasteners and the original location for replacement brake pipes. Failure to properly route and retain brake pipes may cause damage to the brake pipes and cause brake system failure.

Refer to the following figures for brake pipe routing.

Important: When bending the new brake pipe, make sure to use the old brake pipe as a reference. Be sure to route the new brake pipes in the same location as the old brake pipes along with the correct location of the brake pipe clips.

  1. Install the rear brake pipe clip (rear) (1).

  2. Object Number: 180310  Size: SH
  3. Install the rear brake pipe clip (mid-front) (1).

  4. Object Number: 180309  Size: SH
  5. Install the rear brake pipe clip (front) (1).

  6. Object Number: 180308  Size: MH
  7. Install the rear brake pipes (1).

  8. Object Number: 180306  Size: SH
  9. Install the front brake pipe brackets.
  10. Install the traction control module brake pipes from the ABS modulator.
  11. Install the brake pipes from the traction control module.

  13. Install the front brake pipes from the master cylinder
