Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors Upper

1. Remove the radiator air baffle retainers.
2. Remove the radiator air baffle.

1. Install the radiator air baffle.
2. Install the radiator air baffle retainers.

Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors Lower

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



2. Remove the radiator lower air deflector bolts and retainers.
3. Disengage the deflector from the retainer at the center of radiator opening air baffle, as shown.
4. Remove the radiator lower air deflector.

1. Align the radiator lower air deflector to the radiator opening air baffle retainer. Install the deflector to the baffle retainer, as shown.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the radiator lower air deflector bolts and retainers.

Tighten
Tighten the radiator lower air deflector bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft)

3. Lower the vehicle.

Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors Ducts

1. Remove the upper radiator air baffle retainers.
2. Remove the upper radiator air baffle.
3. Remove the radiator air duct(s) retainer(s).
4. Remove the radiator air duct(s).

1. Install the radiator air duct(s).
2. Install the radiator air duct(s) retainer(s).
3. Install the upper radiator air baffle.
4. Install the upper radiator air baffle retainers.

Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors Radiator Opening

1. Raise the hood.
2. Remove the radiator opening air baffle upper retainers.
3. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
4. Remove the lower radiator air baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors



5. Remove the radiator opening air baffle lower retainers.
6. Remove the radiator opening air baffle.

1. Install the radiator opening air baffle.
2. Install the radiator opening air baffle lower retainers.
3. Install the lower radiator air baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Install the radiator opening air baffle upper retainers.
6. Lower the hood.
