Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 310414  Size: SH
  1. Remove the bolts that secure the rear of the seat to the floorpan.
  2. Disengage the front seat hooks from the floorpan and tip the seat back to access the lumbar relays.

  3. Object Number: 803056  Size: SH

    Important: Only the vertical relay connector has a red and a yellow wire. Mark the relay.

  4. Disconnect the position assurance pins and remove the electrical connectors from the relays (1,2).
  5. Slide the vertical or horizontal relay toward the seat center and lift up to disconnect the relay from the clip.
  6. Remove the relay from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the relay on the nylon clip.
  2. Press down and slide the relay towards the seat side.
  3. Install the harness connector to the relay (1,2).
  4. Insert the position assurance pins to secure the connectors.

  5. Object Number: 310414  Size: SH
  6. Engage the front seat hooks in the floorpan.
  7. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Install the bolts which secure the seat to the floorpan.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).
