Important: Do not overtorque the adjuster-to-floorpan nuts. Overtorqued nuts may cause a hard seat travel condition.

The bolts that attach the seat adjusters to the floor pan allow a small amount of adjustment in the following directions:

    • Fore and aft
    • Side to side

The adjustment can be used for the following purposes:

    • Alignment of the seat
    • Alignment of the seat adjusters with each other

The adjustment can be used to help correct the following conditions:

    • Hard or slow operation that is caused by misalignment of the adjusters
    • Inability of the manually operated seat adjuster to lock
