- Remove the key from the ignition key lock cylinder.
- Close all the vehicle doors.
- Press LOCK and then press UNLOCK on the driver's door lock switch
while observing the door locks.
- Press LOCK and then press UNLOCK on the passenger door lock switch
while observing the door locks.
Do all the doors lock and unlock when using either door lock switch?

- Turn the IP dimmer switch to the OFF position.
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Remove the MALL PGM Fuse.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position.
• | The BCM sounds the chime a number of times equivalent to the BCM
type installed on the vehicle (1 - 4 chimes). |
• | The BCM has now entered the feature customization mode. |
- Press and release the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter
to change the remote unlock control mode.
• | The BCM sounds the chime a number of times equivalent to the remote
unlock control mode. |
• | A transition past mode 2 repeats the sequence starting with mode
1. |
- Set the remote unlock control to mode 2.
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Reinstall the MALL PGM Fuse.
- Press the UNLOCK button once on the keyless entry transmitter
while observing the door locks.
- Press the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter again
within 5 seconds while observing the door locks.
In the remote unlock control mode 2 (enabled), the driver's door unlocks
when pressing UNLOCK once on the keyless entry transmitter. Pressing UNLOCK
again within 5 seconds will unlock all the doors.

- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Reinstall the connectors/components removed.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position for 6 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Remove the MALL PGM Fuse.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position. The BCM sounds the
chime a number of times equivalent to the BCM type installed on the vehicle.
- Turn the ignition switch from the ACC position to the OFF position
and back to the ACC position within 1 second. The BCM sounds any DTCs
stored.
