Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 639770 Size: SH
  3. Remove the instrument panel ashtray from the ashtray receiver.

    4. Object Number: 639772 Size: SH
  4. Remove the lower screws from the instrument panel ashtray receiver.

    5. Object Number: 639771 Size: SH
  5. Remove the upper screws from the instrument panel ashtray receiver.

    6. Object Number: 639773 Size: SH
  6. Remove the ashtray receiver from the instrument panel.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ashtray receiver.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 639773 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the ashtray receiver.
  2. Install the instrument panel ashtray receiver to the instrument panel.

    3. Object Number: 639771 Size: SH
  3. Install the upper screws to the ashtray receiver.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the upper ashtray receiver screws to 2 N·m (19 lb in).

  4. Install the lower screws to the ashtray receiver.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the lower ashtray receiver screws to 2 N·m (19 lb in).

  5. Install the instrument panel ashtray to the ashtray receiver.
  6. Install the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement .
  7. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .
