Cigar Lighter/Auxiliary Outlet Circuit Description

Voltage is applied through AUX/CNSL Fuse all times to the roof console accessory power receptacle through circuit 2540. Ground is provided to the roof console accessory power receptacle through circuit 350 from G302. Voltage is applied through CIG LTR Fuse at all time to the floor console accessory power receptacle through circuit 440. Ground is provided to the floor console accessory power receptacle through circuit 150 from G200. Whenever an accessory is inserted into either the roof or floor accessory power receptacle the circuit is completed and power is applied to the accessory.

Voltage is also applied through CIG LTR Fuse at all times to the cigar lighter through circuit 440. Ground is provided to the cigar lighter through circuit 1450 from G200. The cigar lighter has a heating element that, when pushed in, completes the circuit to ground and begins to heat up. When the element is sufficiently heated, the cigar lighter pops out and open the circuit.

Voltage is also applied to the auxiliary power drop connector through CIG LTR Fuse at all times and also the POWER DROP Fuse when the ignition switch is set to RUN. The power drop connector can be used for a more permanent connection of an accessory. Ground will also be applied to the accessory through circuit 1450.
