Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 313126  Size: SH
  1. Using a small flat-bladed tool, carefully release the two rear retaining tabs on the overhead console lamp bezel.
  2. Lower the rear edge of the bezel and release the forward locating tab.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the overhead console lamp assembly.
  4. Remove the screws retaining the overhead console lamp housing assembly to the lamp bezel.
  5. Remove the bezel and the lens from the overhead console lamp housing.
  6. Remove the bulb(s) from the socket(s).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the bulb(s) to the overhead console lamp socket(s).
  2. Install the lamp lens and the bezel to the overhead console lamp housing.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the overhead console lamp housing to lamp bezel retaining screws.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the overhead console lamp housing to lamp bezel retaining screws to 11 N·m (97 lb in).

  6. Connect the electrical connector to the overhead console lamp assembly.
  7. Align and insert the forward locating tab of the overhead console lamp bezel to the overhead console.
  8. Align the rear of the lamp bezel to the console and press the bezel into place to secure the rear retaining tabs.
