  1. Inspect the suspected fog lamp bulbs for damage or an open filament.
  2. Inspect the left and the right fog lamp connectors for a damaged or missing connector seal.

Are the fog lamp bulbs and the connectors OK?

  1. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
  2. Turn the headlamp dimmer switch to the LOW position.
  3. Turn the fog lamp switch to the ON position.
  4. Using a test light, backprobe between the terminal A of the inoperable fog lamp harness connector and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Repair a poor connection or an open in the following locations:

    • On the left side: in circuit 34 between the underhood electrical center harness connector C3 terminal B5 and the fog lamp harness connector terminal A.
    • On the right side: in circuit 34 between the underhood electrical center harness connector C3 terminal A5 and the fog lamp harness connector terminal A.

Has the repair been made?

Go to Fog Lights System Check

Using a test light, backprobe between the inoperable fog lamp harness connector terminal A and terminal B.

Does the test light illuminate?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 1350 between the fog lamp harness connector terminal B and G101.

Has the repair been made?

--

Go to Fog Lights System Check

Replace the fog lamp bulb. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement .

Replace the damaged component.
