Removal Procedure
- Open the rear compartment lid.
- Remove the rear compartment convenience net, if equipped, from the plastic wingnut retainers.
- Remove the visible plastic wingnuts retaining the taillamp.
- Pull back the corner of the rear compartment trim panel to access the remaining plastic wingnut.
- Apply light pressure to the taillamp lens to retain the lamp in position during removal of the remaining plastic wingnut retainer.
- Remove the remaining plastic wingnut retaining the taillamp.
- Carefully remove the taillamp assembly from the rear body panel and support the taillamp assembly.
- Rotate each lamp socket counterclockwise to release and remove from the taillamp housing assembly.
- Remove the taillamp housing assembly.
Installation Procedure
- Install each lamp socket to the taillamp housing assembly and rotate each socket clockwise to secure.
- Carefully align and install the taillamp assembly to the rear body panel.
- Apply light pressure to the lens to retain the lamp in position during installation of the plastic wingnut retainers.
- Install the taillamp assembly plastic wingnut retainer, which will be hidden by the rear compartment trim panel.
- Install the corner of the rear compartment trim panel into position.
- Install the taillamp remaining plastic wingnut retainers.
- Install the rear compartment convenience net, if equipped, to the plastic wingnut retainers.
- Close the rear compartment lid.
