Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the center console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

    3. Object Number: 242796 Size: SH
  3. Remove the one spring clip (2) and shift select cable (1) from manual selector lever.

    4. Object Number: 242808 Size: SH
  4. Remove the one E-clip (2) and shift select cable from manual selector base.

    5. Object Number: 242834 Size: SH
  5. Remove the four bolts (2) and manual selector (1) from vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 242834 Size: SH
  1. Install the manual selector into the vehicle (1). Secure the manual selector with four bolts (2).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the manual selector bolts to 13 N·m (115 lb in).

  2. Connect the shift select cable into manual selector base. Secure with one E-clip (2).

    3. Object Number: 242796 Size: SH
  3. Connect shift select cable to manual selector lever. Secure with one spring clip.
  4. Install the Center Console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  5. Connect negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
