OVERLAP OF PREDELIVERY OPERATION
Effective immediately, the following labor operations will reject for overlap with the predelivery operation Z7000 for a period of 1000 miles:
B1990 Fasteners, Fittings Tighten C9990 Fasteners, Fittings Tighten E9990 Fasteners, Fittings Tighten F9990 Fasteners, Fittings Tighten H9990 Fasteners, Fittings Tighten K1990 Fasteners, Fittings Tighten K3990 Fasteners, Fittings Tighten K5990 Fasteners, Fittings Tighten K9990 Fasteners, Fittings Tighten L2004 Exhaust System, Align
Time is allowed to inspect these areas during the predelivery process and correct any deficiencies that are discovered, hence a repair in any of these areas would constitute a comeback. If a vehicle were to return for repairs in these areas within this 1000 mile period, it should be assigned to the technician who performed the predelivery inspection.
Claims that are submitted for these labor operations within this period will be rejected for Reject Reason 39, Labor Overlap and will require authorization.
