PARK BRAKE CABLE (RUBBING ON WHEELS P/N)

Models Affected: 1988 GRAND PRIX

Owners of these models may experience a noise coming from the rear of the vehicle while it is in motion. This may be caused by the rear brake cable rubbing on the wheel/wheel weight on 1988 Grand Prix.

This condition was eliminated in production effective with the VIN #239650 for Pontiac at Fairfax.

If this condition is commented on a vehicle prior to these VINs, it may be repaired by replacing the appropriate rear park brake cable with the new cable listed below:

Right Hand Cable P/N 10114692

Left Hand Cable P/N 10114732
