REVISED BLOWER MOTOR FAN REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985 Oldsmobile, Buick and Pontiac 'N' Series Equipped with 3.0L V-6 Engine

The blower Motor and fan replacement procedure has been revised for 1985 'N' models equipped with a 3.0L V-6 engine.

Please update your 1985 Service Manual, with the following procedure:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable 2. Serpentine drive belt 3. Two (2) power steering pump bolts and set pump aside 4. Blower motor screws (5) 5. Wiring connector 6. Blower motor 7. Fan

Install or Connect

1. Blower motor and fan 2. Blower motor screws 3. Wiring connector 4. Power steering pump mounting screws (2) 5. Serpentine belt and adjust 6. Negative battery cable
