The Pontiac Service Bulletin Search is an electronic system via DCS by which dealers can quickly and accurately search for specific published Pontiac Service Bulletins. This system is updated as bulletins are published and is available Monday thru Saturday, 7.00 A.M. Eastern Time till 11:00 P.M. Eastern Time. The toll-free telephone number to contact this service is 1-800-228-7788.
A new Pontiac Service Bulletin Search Worksheet Form 7201-07! (Exhibit I) has been developed and is to be used as a source document. An initial supply has been forwarded to all DCS dealers. Additional forms may be ordered through the dealer stationery supply catalog.
The technician and/or service management should complete the worksheet. It is important that the worksheet be completed because of the number of keywords which can be used. (Refer to Exhibit II for Key List Words.) "The computer printout should be attached to the worksheet and returned to the person who initiated the worksheet.
III PROCEDURE
A. Load the locator software following your terminal operator's guide procedure.
B. Dial the national toll-free number: 1-800-228-7788.
C. After your terminal has successfully connected to the Pontiac Locator System, the following welcome message will be displayed.
