---------- A customer may comment of a prolonged low-level glow in the seat belt reminder light in certain early-built vehicles.
----- The subject condition may occur as a result of a combination of tolerances in the alarm module, bulb, vehicle voltage, ambient temperature, etc.
----------- If the vehicle is equipped with a base tone alarm system (constant pitch), replace the existing alarm module P/N 14034321 with P/N 22529441. This change was incorporated into production vehicles starting with VIN 735154.
If the vehicle is equipped with a chime alarm system (RPO UTI which is included with the TR9 lamp group option), replace the existing alarm module P/N 10021724 with P/N 10037040. This change was incorporated into production vehicles starting with VIN 720502.
