Removal Procedure
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Support the transmission with a transmission jack.
- Remove the catalytic converter support bracket (1) retaining bolts (2).
- Remove the catalytic converter support bracket (1) retaining nuts (3).
- Remove the nuts (5) that secures the mount to the transmission support.
- Remove the bolts (6) that secure the transmission support to the vehicle.
- Remove the transmission support from the vehicle.
- Remove the bolts (2) and nuts (3) that secure the mount to the transmission.
- Remove the mount from the transmission.
Important: Before removing the transmission support bracket, scribe or mark the location of the support bracket to the frame rails.
Installation Procedure
- Install the mount to the transmission (1).
- Install the bolts (2) that secure the mount to the transmission.
- Install the nuts (3) that secure the mount to the transmission.
- Install the transmission support to the vehicle.
- Install the bolts that secure the transmission support to the vehicle.
- Install the nut that secures the mount to the transmission support.
- Install the catalytic converter support bracket (1) and retaining bolts (2).
- Install the catalytic converter support bracket retaining nuts (3).
- Remove the transmission jack.
- Lower the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 58 N路m (43 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 25 N路m (18 lb ft).
Important: Align the transmission support bracket marks to the frame rail marks.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 58 N路m (43 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 25 N路m (18 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 45 N路m (33 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 45 N路m (33 lb ft).
