Windshield Wiper Operation - Unique Operation on Intermittent Setting - keywords delay high low speed vehicle

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Windshield wiper operation on intermittent setting.

Intermittent wiper operation: Push the lever up to turn on the wipers. Put the lever in the first position for intermittent (or delay) wiping cycles. The delay will change as your vehicle's speed changes. The delay will decrease as you go faster and increase as you go slower.

Note: The wiper delay is determined based on vehicle speed and the wiper delay position on the windshield wiper lever. This may cause the wipers to go from delay to low or high speed. This is normal operation of the windshield wipers and no repairs should be made.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
