The SIR scan tool data definitions contain a brief description of all SIR related parameters available on the scan tool. The parameters that are available on the scan tool are listed below in alphabetical order.

Air Bag Deployment Commanded: The scan tool displays whether the SDM has deployed any modules.

Battery State: The scan tool displays the current status of the system voltage measured by the SDM at its ignition feed.

Battery Voltage: The scan tool displays 0-20 volts. The Battery voltage represents the system voltage measured by the SDM at its ignition feed.

BCM Poll: The scan tool displays whether the SDM is receiving a request from the BCM for the status of deployment and malfunction data.

Check Light: The scan tool displays the status of the indicator during the first 5 seconds after the ignition is turned On.

Driver Airbag Loop Capacitance: The scan tool displays the capacitance in the driver deployment loop.

Driver Frontal Loop: The scan tool displays whether the SDM has been programmed for the driver deployment loop.

Driver Loop Resistance: The scan tool displays the resistance in the driver deployment loop.

Driver Pretensioner Loop: The scan tool displays whether the SDM has been programmed for the LH seat belt pretensioner deployment loop.

Driver Pretensioner Resistance: The scan tool displays the resistance in the LH seat belt pretensioner deployment loop.

Driver Side Pretensioner Loop Capacitance: The scan tool displays the capacitance in the LH seat belt pretensioner deployment loop.

DTC Status: The scan tool displays the status of DTCs.

Module Type: The scan tool displays an 2-digit number. This number indicates the type of control module.

Passenger Airbag Loop Capacitance: The scan tool displays the capacitance in the passenger deployment loop.

Passenger Frontal Loop: The scan tool displays whether the SDM has been programmed for the passenger deployment loop.

Passenger Loop Resistance: The scan tool displays the resistance in the passenger deployment loop.

Passenger Pretensioner Resistance: The scan tool displays the resistance in the RH seat belt pretensioner deployment loop.
