Removal Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Tape Corners of Panel Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1332663 Size: SH
  1. Apply tape to the corners of the hood and the adjacent surfaces.
  2. From each side of the fascia (1), remove the screw (5) that attaches the fascia (1) to the wheelhouse liner (4).
  3. From each side of the fascia (1), remove the screw (3) that attaches the fascia (1) to the fascia support (2).
  4. Unclip the fascia (1) from the fascia support (2) by grabbing the upper end of the fascia and pulling away from the vehicle.

  5. Disconnect the fog lamp and sidemarker lamp harness connector (2) from the left-hand side of the vehicle.
  6. Remove the3 screws (1) attaching the fascia (3) to the front upper panel.
  7. With the aid of an assistant, remove the fascia (3) from the vehicle.
  8. Remove the fog lamps. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  9. Remove the sidemarker lamps. Refer to Front Side Marker Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  10. Remove the fog lamp and sidemarker lamp harness. Refer to Fog Lamp and Sidemarker Lamp Harness Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  11. Remove the front license plate bracket, if equipped. Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement .
  12. Remove the front fascia emblem. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Emblem Replacement in Exterior Trim.
  13. Remove the upper fascia grille. Refer to Front Bumper Upper Fascia Grille Replacement .
  14. Remove the lower fascia grille. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement .

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the lower fascia grille. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement .
  2. Install the upper fascia grille. Refer to Front Bumper Upper Fascia Grille Replacement .
  3. Install the front fascia emblem. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Emblem Replacement .
  4. Install the front license plate bracket, if removed. Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement .
  5. Install the fog lamp and sidemarker lamp harness. Refer to Fog Lamp and Sidemarker Lamp Harness Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  6. Install the sidemarker lamps. Refer to Front Side Marker Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  7. Install the fog lamps. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.

  8. With the aid of an assistant, position the fascia (3) onto the vehicle.

    9. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  9. Install the 3 screws (1) attaching the fascia (3) to the front upper panel.

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the 3 upper fascia screws to 3 N·m (26 lb in).

  10. Connect the fog lamp and sidemarker lamp harness connector (2) on the left-hand side of the vehicle.

  11. Fasten the fascia (1) to the fascia supports (2).
  12. On each side of the fascia (1), install the screw (3) that attaches the fascia (1) to the fascia support (2).

    13. Tighten
    Tighten the fascia support screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  13. On each side of the fascia (1), install the screw (5) that attaches the fascia (1) to the wheelhouse liner (4).

    14. Tighten
    Tighten fascia wheelhouse liner screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  14. Remove the protective tape that may have been applied during the removal procedure.
