Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1377466 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left side closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Remove the body control module (BCM). Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.
  3. Disconnect the vacuum line (12) from the actuator (11).
  4. Remove the clip (6), spacers (5) and actuator rod (7) from the lever (4).
  5. Remove the actuator retaining screws (9).
  6. Remove the actuator from the HVAC unit (10).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1377466 Size: SH
  1. Install the actuator (11) to the HVAC unit (10).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Secure the actuator with the retaining screws (9).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the clip (6), spacers (5) and actuator rod (7) to the lever (4).
  4. Connect the vacuum line (12) to the actuator.
  5. Install the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.
  6. Install the left side closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
