Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1378879 Size: SH
  1. Remove the HVAC unit. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  2. Disconnect the vacuum line (4) from the actuator (5).
  3. Remove the clip (8), spacers (1) and actuator rod (7) from the lever (2).
  4. Remove the actuator retaining screws (6).
  5. Remove the actuator from the HVAC unit (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1378879 Size: SH
  1. Install the actuator (5) to the HVAC unit.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Secure the actuator with the retaining screws (6).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the clip (8), spacers (1) and actuator rod (7) to the lever (2).
  4. Connect the vacuum line (4) to the actuator.
  5. Install the HVAC unit. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
