Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2004 🢒 GTO 🢒 HVAC 🢒 Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning 🢒 Instrument Panel End Bracket Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
  2. Remove the body control module. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.

    3. Object Number: 1363052 Size: SH
  3. Remove the screw (1) attaching the right end bracket assembly (2) to the lower radio bracket.
  4. Remove the bolt (6) attaching the right end bracket assembly (2) to the lower radio bracket.
  5. Remove the bolts (3) and (4) attaching the right end bracket assembly (2) to the vehicle.
  6. Remove the two bolts (5) attaching the right end bracket (2) to the instrument panel inflatable restraint.
  7. Detach the wiring harness and remove the right end bracket assembly (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1363052 Size: SH
  1. Position the right end bracket assembly (2) to the vehicle and attach the wiring harness.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 2 bolts (5) attaching the right end bracket (2) to the instrument panel inflatable restraint.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the bolts (3) and (4) attaching the right end bracket assembly (2) to the vehicle.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the bolt (6) attaching the right end bracket assembly (2) to the lower radio bracket.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the screw (1) attaching the right end bracket assembly (2) to the lower radio bracket.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the body control module. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.
  7. Install the instrument panel pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
