Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1347270 Size: SH
  1. Remove the manual transmission from the vehicle. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission - Tremec 6-Speed.
  2. Disconnect the pipe fitting (1) from the clutch slave cylinder.
  3. Remove the clutch slave cylinder bolts (3).

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the clutch slave cylinder and bolts (3).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the clutch actuator cylinder bolts (3) to 10 N·m (115 lb in).

  2. Connect the pipe fitting (1) to the clutch slave cylinder.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the pipe fitting (1) to 13 N·m (88 lb in).

  3. Install the manual transmission to the vehicle. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission - Tremec 6-Speed.
