Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the manual transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission - Tremec 6-Speed.

  2. Object Number: 1347270  Size: SH
  3. Remove the clutch slave cylinder bolts (3).

  4. Object Number: 1347271  Size: SH
  5. Remove the transmission bolts (1).
  6. Separate the clutch housing from the transmission.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the clutch housing to the transmission.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the transmission bolts (1).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the transmission bolts to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).

  5. Install the clutch slave cylinder bolts (3).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the clutch slave cylinder bolts (13) to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the manual transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission - Tremec 6-Speed.
