Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2004 🢒 GTO 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls - 5.7L 🢒 Accelerator Pedal Replacement
  1. Remove the two fuel rail covers.

    2. Object Number: 1360223 Size: SH
  2. Remove the throttle relaxer cover (1).
  3. Remove the cruise control cable (2).
  4. Remove the accelerator pedal cable (3).
  5. Remove the retainer clip at the theft deterrent horn bracket .
  6. Remove the left instrument panel lower trim. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instument Panel Gages, and Console.

    7. Object Number: 1372156 Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the accelerator pedal cable (2) from the accelerator pedal lever (1), inside the vehicle
  8. After releasing the accelerator pedal cable from the slot in the accelerator pedal lever (1), pull the cable through the dash panel from the engine side.
  9. Remove the accelerator cable from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1372156 Size: SH
  1. Install the cable through the dash panel from the engine side. Install the accelerator pedal cable to the slot in the accelerator pedal lever (1).
  2. Connect the accelerator pedal cable (2) to the accelerator pedal lever (1), inside the vehicle.
  3. Install the left instrument panel lower trim. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instument Panel Gages, and Console.
  4. Install the retainer clip at the theft deterrent horn bracket .

  5. Install the accelerator pedal cable (3).
  6. Install the cruise control cable (2).
  7. Install the throttle relaxer cover (1).
