Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 55819 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector.

    2. Object Number: 58838 Size: SH
  2. Twist the MAP sensor forward in order to release the sensor from the retainer.
  3. Pull the sensor upward.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 58838 Size: SH

    Important: Before you install the sensor, lightly coat the MAP sensor seal with clean engine oil.

  1. Install the MAP sensor. Push the MAP sensor down in order to engage the sensor into the retainer.

    2. Object Number: 55819 Size: SH
  2. Connect the MAP sensor electrical connector.
