Fuel Fill Tube Seems Loose - keywords fueling hose pipe

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

When fueling the vehicle the customer may comment on the fuel fill tube being loose.

The mounting of the fuel fill tube allows it to float at the top where the fuel nozzle is inserted when adding fuel to the vehicle. This is design intent. Do NOT replace any parts or make an attempt to correct the concern.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
