Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning in the Preface section.

    Danger: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the rear wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.

  3. Object Number: 1986583  Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner to rocker moulding retaining screws (1).
  5. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner to vehicle push-in retainers (2).

  6. Object Number: 1986585  Size: SH
  7. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner to rear bumper fascia push-in retainers (2).
  8. Carefully pry the rear wheelhouse liner from the vehicle using a suitable tool.
  9. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear wheelhouse liner (1) to the vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 1986585  Size: SH
  3. Install the rear wheelhouse liner to rear bumper fascia push-in retainers (2).

  4. Object Number: 1986583  Size: SH
  5. Install the rear wheelhouse liner to rocker moulding retaining screws (1).
  6. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  7. Tighten the rear wheelhouse liner to rocker moulding retaining screws (1) and tighten to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
  8. install the rear wheelhouse liner to vehicle push-in retainers (2).
  9. Install the rear wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
