  1. Install a NEW O-ring (2) on the oil level indicator tube (1).

    2. Object Number: 1957983 Size: SH
  2. Install the oil level indicator and tube (1) by sliding the oil level indicator and tube (1) down through the exhaust manifold (2).

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1957981 Size: SH
  3. Install the oil level indicator tube bracket to cylinder head retaining bolt (2) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    4. Object Number: 1957847 Size: SH
  4. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield (2).
  5. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield to exhaust manifold retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
