Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 G8 🢒 HVAC 🢒 Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning 🢒 Blower Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side.
  2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
  3. Remove the right side floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side.

    4. Object Number: 2041035 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector (1).

    5. Object Number: 2041036 Size: SH
  5. Remove the blower motor to HVAC module assembly retaining screws (1).

    6. Object Number: 2041037 Size: SH
  6. Remove the blower motor (1) from the HVAC module assembly (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2041037 Size: SH
  1. Install the blower motor (1) to the HVAC module assembly (2).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2041036 Size: SH
  2. Install the blower motor to HVAC module assembly retaining screws (1) and tighten to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 2041035 Size: SH
  3. Connect the blower motor electrical connector (1).
  4. Install the right side floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side.
  5. Install the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
  6. Install the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side.
