Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning in the Preface section.

    Danger: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 2128111  Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear bumper fascia moulding retaining scrivets (2) from the rear bumper fascia moulding (1).

  4. Object Number: 2128112  Size: SH

    Note: Care should be taken not to damage the rear bumper fascia molding retaining clips (2).

  5. Apply suitable pressure to the rear bumper fascia molding (3) at the rear bumper fascia molding retaining clips (2) and detach the rear bumper fascia molding (3) away from the rear bumper fascia (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 2128112  Size: SH

    Note: Align the rear bumper fascia molding retaining clips (2) with the rear bumper fascia (1).

    Note: Listen for an audible click to confirm correct installation of the rear bumper fascia molding retaining clips (2).

  1. Install the rear bumper fascia molding (3) to the rear bumper fascia (1) and apply suitable pressure to engage the rear bumper fascia molding retaining clips (2) to the rear bumper fascia (1).

  2. Object Number: 2128111  Size: SH
  3. Install the rear bumper fascia moulding retaining scrivets (2) to the rear bumper fascia moulding (1).
