    • EN 46106 Engine Flywheel Holding Tool
    • J 45059 Angle Meter
        For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools.

  1. Install the EN 46106 tool  (1).

    2. Object Number: 1958103 Size: SH
  2. Place the automatic transmission flex plate (2) in position.
  3. Install 2 NEW automatic transmission flex plate to crankshaft retaining bolts (1) in location at the top and bottom of the automatic transmission flex plate (2) bolt pattern allowing the automatic transmission flex plate (2) to hang in position.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Install the remaining NEW automatic transmission flex plate to crankshaft retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

    5. Tighten the bolts an additional 45 degrees using the J 45059 meter .
