For 1990-2009 cars only
- Inspect the pressure test hole plug (40) and O-ring seal (66) for damage.
- Install the pressure test plug (40) and O-ring seal (66) and tighten to 11N·m (8 lb ft).
- Inspect the fluid level hole plug (36) and O-ring seal (37) for damage.
- Install the transmission fluid level hole plug O-ring seal (37) and the transmission fluid level hole plug (36) and tighten to 20N·m (15 lb ft).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
Note: If the pressure test plug (40), O-ring (66), level hole plug (36) and O-ring (37) are not damaged, they should be reused.
