Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear window shelf. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1962648 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the remote function actuator (RFA) (1) electrical connector (2).

    3. Object Number: 1962652 Size: SH

    Important: Removal of the RFA is only accessible through the rear compartment.

  3. Remove the RFA by releasing the two retaining tangs (1) and removing it from the rear window shelf.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1962655 Size: SH
  1. Install the RFA by inserting the retaining tang (1) first and snap fitting the other two retaining tangs (2) listen for an audible click to confirm fitting.

    2. Object Number: 1962648 Size: SH
  2. Connect the RFA (1) electrical connector (2).
  3. Install the rear window shelf. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
  4. Program the RFA. Refer to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Programming and Setup.
  5. Operate the keyless entry for correct operation.
