This PI was superseded to update Recommendation/Instructions. Please discard PIC4817.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
The following diagnostic DTCs may appear when using the Tech 2. They usually don't show up as either "current or in history". The DTCs cannot be cleared using Tech 2 software version 28.002. Also, the DTCs cannot be cleared by removing power from the DIC, such as removing a battery cable.

Recommendation/Instructions:
Update the Tech 2 software version to 28.003 or higher then clear the DTCs. If DIC performance issues are observed, contact the GM Technical Assistance Center.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
