Spare Tire / Inflator Kit- keywords suspension wheel

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Information on which Pontiac G8s are equipped with a spare tire and which are equipped with an inflator kit.

G8 models (always V-6 equipped) are equipped with a compact spare tire located under the trunk floor. G8 GT models (always V-8 equipped) are equipped with a tire inflator kit, which can be used to seal small punctures in the tread area of a tire. The kit is located under the trunk floor. Refer to the tire inflator kit instructions for complete operating information.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
