🢒 Coolant Recovery Reservoir Pipe Replacement
Coolant Recovery Reservoir Pipe Replacement 3.6L Engine
Removal Procedure
Remove the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to
Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement
in Body Front End.
Detach the coolant recovery hose (2) from the radiator outlet pipe (1).
Remove the coolant recovery hose (2) from the coolant recovery reservoir filler neck (1).
Detach and remove the coolant recovery reservoir hose (1) from the coolant recovery reservoir retaining locks (3) located on the radiator (2).
Installation Procedure
Install the coolant recovery reservoir hose (2) into the coolant recovery reservoir filler neck (1).
Attach the coolant recovery reservoir hose (1) into the coolant recovery reservoir retaining locks (3) located on the radiator (2).
Attach the coolant recovery reservoir hose (2) to the radiator outlet pipe (1).
Install the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to
Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement
in Body Front End.
Check the coolant level. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Coolant Recovery Reservoir Pipe Replacement 6.0L Engine
Removal Procedure
Remove the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to
Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement
in Body Front End.
Remove the air intake duct. Refer to
Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement
.
Detach the coolant recovery hose from the outlet housing (1).
Detach the coolant recovery reservoir hose (1) from the radiator retaining clips (2).
Detach and remove the coolant recovery hose (2) from the coolant recovery reservoir filler neck (1).
Installation Procedure
Attach the coolant recovery hose (2) to the coolant recovery reservoir filler neck (1).
Attach the coolant recovery reservoir hose (1) into the radiator (2) retaining clips (3).
Attach the coolant recovery hose (2) to the outlet housing (1).
Inspect the coolant level and "top up" if necessary.
Install the air intake duct. Refer to
Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement
.
Install the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to
Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement
in Body Front End.
