  2. Remove the rear end trim finish panel. Refer to Rear End Trim Finish Upper Panel Replacement.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
45 N·m (33 lb ft)

  2. Remove the rear window shelf panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.

Tighten
45 N·m (33 lb ft)

Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement Sedan

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1233221 Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear seat belt anchor.
  4. Remove the retractor fastener.
  5. Remove the retractor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1233221 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat belt retractor to the vehicle.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the fastener to the seat belt retractor.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).

  3. Install the seat belt anchor.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).

  4. Install the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
  5. Install the rear seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement.
