Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1283406 Size: SH
  1. Disable the roof rail SIR system, if equipped. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
  2. Remove the lower lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement.
  3. Remove the garnish trim fastener cover.
  4. Remove the garnish trim fastener.

    5. Object Number: 1171405 Size: SH
  5. Starting at the bottom, remove the garnish trim by pulling straight out.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1171405 Size: SH
  1. Install the garnish trim into the vehicle.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the garnish trim fastener.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 3 N·m (26 lb in).

  3. Install the trim fastener cover.
  4. Install the lower lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement.
  5. Enable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
