Place the folding top in the service position. Refer to Folding Top Retainer Strap Installation Position.

Folding Top Side Front Weatherstrip

Tip
Mark the location of the part with a grease pencil before removing.

Retainer Weatherstrip Folding Top Side Front Screws (Qty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Weatherstrip Folding Top Side Front Retainer

Tip

1. Loosen the 2-way tape along the front edge.
2. Use a plastic, flat-bladed tool to assist in the removal.

Use a lint-free cloth and Naphtha or a 50/50 mixture, by volume of isopropyl alcohol and water to remove the adhesive.

3. Dry the area thoroughly.
4. Do not touch the adhesive backing on the weatherstrip.
