Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.

    2. Object Number: 1219414 Size: SH
  2. Remove the push-in retainers from the upper fascia support.

    3. Object Number: 1219346 Size: SH

    Note: The upper fascia support must clear the hood latch.

  3. Remove the bolts from the rear of the front fascia support.

    4. Object Number: 1491983 Size: SH
  4. Remove the upper fascia support.

    5. Pull back on the upper fascia.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1491983 Size: SH

    Note: The upper fascia support must clear the hood latch.

  1. Pull back the front fascia and install the upper fascia support.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1219346 Size: SH
  2. Install the bolts to the rear of the front fascia support.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).


    Object Number: 1219414 Size: SH
  3. Install the push-in retainers to the upper fascia support.
  4. Close the hood.
