Shift Control Knob Bezel

Procedure

1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Removal: carefully insert a small flat-bladed tool between the bezel (1) and the shift knob (3). Apply careful downward pressure to the bezel to separate the bezel from the shift knob.
3. Installation: Lift the bezel (1) up to the shift knob (3) until a click sound is heard indicating the bezel is secured to the shift knob.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Remove the shift control knob screw.

Tighten
4 N·m (35 lb in)
