Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
3. Remove the left splash shield. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement.
4. Support the transaxle with a suitable stand.

Transaxle Mount Bracket to Mount Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
50 N·m (37 lb ft)

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement.
2. Install the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture.

Transaxle Mount to Transaxle Mount Bracket Bolt (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
50 N·m (37 lb ft)

Transaxle Mount Bracket to Transaxle Bolt (Qty: 3)

Tip

1. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
2. Remove the left splash shield. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement.
3. Using the engine support fixture, lower the transaxle enough to access the transaxle mount bracket bolts.

Tighten
90 N·m (66 lb ft)
